Korean Bell

Japanese:
Korean Bell
A temple bell cast in Korea from around the Silla period (8th century). It is a circular tower shape with a flared base, with a bulge in the body, and in the space between the upper and lower bands, Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, heavenly beings, flying clouds, etc. are cast in raised motifs. The biggest feature that distinguishes it from Japanese bells is that a cylinder called a flag insert is attached to the crown at the top. There are relics from the Silla period, and they were exported to Japan, where copies were also made.
