Gargle - ganso (English spelling)
Gargling refers to gargling with a liquid for the purposes of cleaning, sterilizing, deodorizing, and relieving pain in the oral cavity, pharynx, and larynx. Usually, an aqueous solution of a disinfectant, preservative, or astringent is used, which is a drug that causes little local irritation and is harmless if swallowed. For example, 2% boric acid water or 1-2% sodium bicarbonate water is used.
