1482‐1519 A Confucian scholar and official of the Yi Dynasty in Korea. His pen name was Kochok. His pen name was Seian. He was from Hanyang. He was a disciple of Kim Hong-pil, who inherited the academic tradition of Kitsusai, and studied Neo-Confucianism, becoming a leader of the Sarin. He gained the trust of Jungjong by preaching the realization of kingly politics, and implemented the Xianliangka and abolished the Sogekso (Taoist temple). However, he appointed many of his own samurai and engaged in radical behavior, so he was falsely accused by Namkon and other former samurai. His entire party was condemned, and he was exiled to Yeongju and executed (Ki-mo-sa-ga). He wrote the Seianshu (Collection of the Confucian).
