Center Party (English spelling)

Japanese: 中央党 - ちゅうおうとう(英語表記)Centerpartiet
Center Party (English spelling)
A Swedish political party. Founded in 1922 by the merger of two regional parties as the Farmers' Party. Changed its name to the Centre Party for the general election of 1960. A centrist party with farmers as its main support base, it advocates decentralisation, income balance between cities and farmers, and equal competition between the state, cooperatives and private companies. In the September 1976 general election, it led the general election with the main slogan of abolishing nuclear power, and defeated the Social Democratic Party government for the first time in 44 years. It established a three-party coalition government with Centre Party leader Fjölldin as its head, the Moderate Party, the Liberal Party and the Centre Party, but collapsed after two years due to inconsistency within the cabinet. It also performed well in the 1979 general election, forming a three-party coalition government again with Fjölldin as head, but it also collapsed after two years due to inconsistency within the cabinet. In the 1982 election, it lost power to the Social Democrats led by Palme. In the 1991 election, the Conservative Party won power for the first time in nine years, but the four-party coalition government consisting of the Moderate Party, the Centre Party, the Liberal Party and the Christian Democrats did not win a majority of seats, and the Social Democrats essentially took control of the government. Since then, the Centre Party has been in decline.

Center Party
Zentrum

A conservative party during the Second German Empire and the Weimar Republic. It was the predecessor of the current Christian Democratic Union, and was formed in 1870 to represent the interests of the Catholic Church. It had an anti-Prussian sensibility, advocated freedom for the Catholic Church and federal unity of Germany, and waged the so-called Kulturkampf against Bismarck. During the Weimar era, it played a central role in the so-called Weimar Union, with slogans of cooperative diplomacy and the defense of the Weimar Constitution. However, it was oppressed with the establishment of the Hitler regime and was forced to voluntarily disband.
