Japanese: 父の恩 - ちちのおん

A collection of illustrated haiku poems in honour of actors. Compiled by Ichikawa Sansho (the second Ichikawa Danjūrō). Mino-sized large format. 2 volumes in 2 books. Published in February 1730 (Kyoho 15). Illustrations by Eiichi Hachi and Ogawa Hagasa. The title is based on a haiku by the second Danjūrō, "Copy it, the shadows are also slow to give way to the great sutra of gratitude." Published by the second Danjūrō to commemorate the 27th anniversary of the death of his father, the first Danjūrō, the book includes memorial waka, hokku, renku, and Chinese poems, but the core of the book is the section that records the stage appearances, memorial poems, posthumous names, family temples, dates of death, and characteristics of 65 deceased actors of the time, making it a valuable record of the deaths of those times.

俳優追善絵入句集。市川三升(2世市川団十郎)編。美濃判大。2巻2冊。1730年(享保15)2月刊。英一蜂，小川破笠画。書名は〈写し得よ日影も遅々の恩重経〉という2世団十郎の句に拠る。2世団十郎が父初世団十郎の二十七回忌追善のために刊行したもので，追善の和歌，発句，連句，漢詩などを収めるが，むしろ本書の中核は当時の物故俳優65人の舞台姿，追善句，戒名，菩提寺，没年月日，特色などを記した部分で，当時の忌辰録的価値がある。
