Isukeyorihime - Isukeyorihime

Japanese:
Isukeyorihime - Isukeyorihime
The Empress of Emperor Jimmu, as recorded in the Kojiki. Her birth story is a divine marriage tale of the Ninurya type. Omononushi-no-Kami of Miwa fell in love with the beautiful Seyadatarahime, and while she was relieving herself, he transformed into a Ninurya arrow and stabbed her in the "hoto" (genitals). Ninurya transformed into a handsome man again and married the girl, giving birth to Hototataraisusukihime, who was said to have been changed to the above name after playing with the "hoto" (sniff). "Isuke" is based on "isusuki" (to tremble), and "yori" indicates the possession of a divine spirit.
