A flame-rising kiln with a vertical cylinder (mostly 9-10m high, with an inner diameter of about 2.3m) lined with firebricks. Raw materials are charged together with fuels such as coal and coke and then fired. It has good thermal economy, but does not produce clean firing. It is used for calcining lump raw materials such as limestone, dolomite, and magnesite, and for firing cement clinker. → Kiln Source : Heibonsha Encyclopedia About MyPedia Information |
