A town in Minamiaizu County in western Fukushima Prefecture. It occupies the mountainous area upstream of the Tadami River. The central area, Tadami, is located near the confluence of the Tadami River and the Ina River, and the Tadami Line runs through it. It developed rapidly after the construction of the Tagokura Dam.
