Solar Year - Taiyounen

The time it takes for the sun to leave the vernal equinox, travel around the celestial ecliptic, and return to the vernal equinox is called one solar year, also known as the tropical year. Because the vernal equinox moves from east to west due to the precession phenomenon, it is slightly shorter than the sidereal year, which is the Earth's orbital period. One solar year is 365.242199 days as of 12:00 (calendar time) on January 0th, 1900. Since the seasons cycle according to the solar year, it is one of the basic cycles in the calendar.

太陽が春分点を出発して天球の黄道(こうどう)を一周し、ふたたび春分点に戻るまでの時間を一太陽年といい、回帰年ともいう。春分点は歳差現象により東から西に移動するため、地球の公転周期の恒星年よりわずかに短い。一太陽年は1900年1月零日12時（暦表時）で365.242199日である。季節は太陽年によって循環するから暦法上の基本周期の一つである。
