Tyson Party Revolution - Tyson Party Revolution
A huge anti-government peasant movement that occurred in Vietnam at the end of the 18th century. It overthrew the Quang Nam (Canton) Dynasty and the Le Dynasty of Dai Viet (Dai Viet) and achieved the unification of Vietnam. In Japan, it is called the Tay Son Rebellion. In 1771, three brothers, Nguyen Van Nhac (Nguyen Wen Gaku), Hue (Hui) and Lu (Lu), from Tay Son (Seiyama) village in Binh Dinh, rebelled against the Quang Nam Dynasty in Hue (Shun Ka), and quickly swept through the Binh Dinh and Quang Nam regions. The Trinh (Treng) family of Hanoi, former enemies of the Quang Nam Nguyen (Nguyen) family, responded by taking Hue, and in 1778, King Dinh Vuong (Dinh) of Quang Nam fled to the south and died there.
