〘Noun〙 One of the thirteen Shinto sects. It began in 1873 when the 80th Izumo Kuni no Miyatsuko, the chief priest of Izumo Taisha Shrine, Chike Takatomi, organized the Izumo Taisha Keishinko with his parishioners. In 1882, it was given special permission to be established and called Shinto Taishakyo, and in 1946 it was renamed Izumo Taishakyo , and in 1951 it was renamed Izumo Taishakyo . 〘名〙 神道十三派の一つ。明治六年(一八七三)、出雲大社大宮司出雲国造八〇代千家尊福が氏子信徒をもって出雲大社敬神講を組織したのに始まる。同一五年、特立の認可を得て神道大社教と称し、昭和二一年(一九四六)出雲大社(たいしゃ)教、同二六年出雲大社(おおやしろ)教と改称。本部は島根県出雲市。
