Taikou storehouse land - Taikou Ririchi
The direct territories of the Toyotomi clan. Initially, the intention was to secure military rice for the army, but later, due to the need to stabilize the financial base and control the daimyo, they were established in key economic and transportation points, major cities, mines, and even within the daimyo's territories. According to the inventory of the treasury in 1598, the total value of the treasury land in 35 provinces was approximately 207,519 koku, the tax revenue from gold and silver mines in each province was 3,397 gold and 79,415 silver, and the tax revenue from various duties was 1,002 gold and 13,950 silver. The treasury land was concentrated in the Kinai region and northern Kyushu, and it can be said that it supported the Toyotomi clan's centralized political and economic policies, and also served as a logistics base for the Bunroku-Keicho War and a base for overseas trade.
