Japanese: 卒都婆流 - そとばながし
Sotoba-ryu - Sotobanagashi
(1) The name of a Heikyoku song. Hiramono (flat material). Fushimono (fushimono). Taira Yasuyori Nyudo and Tanba Shosho Naritsune, who were exiled to Kikaigashima Island, invited the Kumano Sanzan, which they deeply believed in, to the island and made repeated visits to the island. One day, they held a wake before the shrine and sang imayo (traditional Japanese folk songs). In the early morning, while napping, they had a dream in which twenty or thirty women wearing scarlet hakama came up to the beach in a sailboat. The women sang the imayo song, "The promise of a thousand hands is more reliable than the prayers of all Buddhas..." and then disappeared (middle note).
