Song Hui Yao Shi Guo (English translation)

Japanese: 宋会要輯稿 - そうかいようしゅうこう（英語表記）Sòng huì yào jí gǎo

A book that classifies and compiles imperial edicts, regulations, and other documents relating to the various systems of the Song dynasty in China. Compiled by Xu Song (1781-1848) of the Qing dynasty. Also known simply as the Song Huiyao. The Song dynasty Huiyao were compiled according to the periods of the Northern and Southern Song dynasties, from the 150 volumes of the Qingli Guochao Huiyao in 1044 (Qingli 4) to the 588 volumes of the Jiading Guochao Huiyao in 1236 (Duanping 3), and amount to as many as 10 different types. These were compiled from first-class original materials at key meeting points in the imperial court, and were kept secret, accessible only to certain officials and historians, and of course lost without ever being printed.

中国，宋代の諸制度に関する詔勅，条例などを分類，集成した書物。清の徐松(1781‐1848)の編。《宋会要》とも簡称する。宋代の会要は，1044年(慶暦4)の《慶暦国朝会要》150巻から，1236年(端平3)の《嘉定国朝会要》588巻まで，南北両宋の時代に応じて編纂され，10種類の多きに達する。これらは宮中の会要所で第一級の原資料を使って編纂，秘蔵され，特定の官員や史官しか閲覧できず，むろん刻本にされぬまま失われていった。
