A genealogy of about 880 extinct samurai families from the Edo period. 30 volumes. Edited by Tabata Kiemon Yoshimasa. According to the preface in 1809 (Bunka 6), the genealogy of families that had ceased to exist over the 200 years from the foundation of the Edo Shogunate to the Bunka era was compiled based on the Honshikiden, Kyuki, and the kiden of temple parishioners, and was presented to the government treasury via the Hayashi family with the good offices of Hotta Masaatsu, lord of Katata Castle in Omi, and it is expected that any omissions will be corrected at a later date. 江戸時代の武家の絶家約880家の系譜。写30巻。田畑喜右衛門吉正編。1809年(文化6)の自序によれば，江戸幕府の創業以後文化年間に至る200年間に中絶した家の系譜を，本支紀伝，旧記，寺院所蔵の檀越の紀伝に基づいて編纂し，近江堅田城主堀田正敦の斡旋で林家を介して官庫に進献したもので，遺漏については後日の補正を期している。内閣文庫所蔵。活字本は続群書類従刊行会の刊本3冊がある。【岩沢愿彦】
