Rakugo performer. (1) The first (?-1829 (Bunsei 12)) Formerly a retainer of the Okudaira family of the Nakatsu domain, he lived in Akasaka and initially entered the school of Tokiwazu Kanedayu, where he was called Wakadayu. Later, he became a disciple of the first Sanshotei Karaku, but in 1809 (Bunka 6) he became independent and opened a comedy hall called Fukinuki-tei in Shitaya, where he made a name for his musical rakugo stories, for which he was called the father of musical rakugo. (2) The second (1786 (Tenmei 6)-?) Second son of the hatamoto Nonoyama Daizen. After a life of debauchery, he became a disciple of the first Namiki Gohei, a kyogen writer, and took the stage name of Shinoda Kinji before assuming the name of the second Gohei. 落語家。(1)初代(?‐1829(文政12)) もと中津藩奥平家の家臣で赤坂に住み,はじめ常磐津兼太夫(ときわづかねだゆう)門に入って若太夫と称した。のち,初代三笑亭可楽に入門したが,1809年(文化6)に独立し,下谷の寄席吹抜(ふきぬき)亭を開いて音曲(おんぎよく)噺で売り出し,音曲噺の祖と称せられた。(2)2代(1786(天明6)‐?) 旗本野々山大膳の次男。放蕩の末,狂言作者の初世並木五瓶(ごへい)に入門して篠田金治を経て2世五瓶を襲名。
