Dedicated line - Dedicated line

Japanese: 専用線 - せんようせん
Dedicated line - Dedicated line
A connection line that a user rents from a communications company. Unlike circuit-switched services such as telephone, ISDN, and frame relay, it can transmit large volumes of data because it does not receive traffic from other users. Communication is carried out using a method called TDM (Time Division Multiplexer). It is billed under a fixed usage fee system that depends on the distance and capacity.
