Iwai [Hot Spring] - Iwai
An old hot spring that springs up on the left bank of the upper reaches of the Gamo River in Iwami Town, Tottori Prefecture. Salt-containing, nitrate spring. 46-50℃. There is Miyu Shrine, which is listed in the Engishiki, and the ruins of the Iwai Temple Pagoda (historic site), and strange customs and songs about bathing in the hot spring have been passed down. In the Edo period, there were more than a dozen inns. Take a bus from Iwami Station on the San'in Main Line.
