Centrex is a new market of the Nagoya Stock Exchange. Small and medium-sized enterprises are closely connected to the local economy, and are expected to be a source of dynamism in the local economy, demonstrating mobility, flexibility, and creativity. The market was established on October 1, 1999 with the aim of encouraging such small and medium-sized enterprises to play an active role and become a driving force for revitalizing the local economy and greatly contribute to the local community in various situations. The Nagoya Stock Exchange's concept is to provide new fund-raising methods for small and medium-sized enterprises that are in their infancy in terms of fund-raising and profitability, and to provide new investment opportunities for investors, in order to contribute to the revitalization of the Chubu region's economy through the development and support of small and medium-sized enterprises. The first stock to be traded was "MG Home" (stock code 8891) on July 19, 2001.

セントレックス(せんとれっくす)は、名古屋証券取引所の新市場。中堅・中小企業は、地域経済に密着するとともに、機動性、柔軟性、創造性を発揮し、地域経済のダイナミズムの源泉として期待されており、このような中堅・中小企業が活躍することで、地域経済の活性化の牽引力となり、様々な場面で地域社会に大きく貢献することを目的として、平成11年10月1日に市場が創設された。名古屋証券取引所は、中堅・中小企業の育成・支援を通じて中部地域の経済活性化に寄与するために、資金調達力や収益力等について揺籃期にある中堅・中小企業に対し新たな資金調達手段を提供するとともに、投資家に新たな投資機会を提供することをコンセプトとしている。第一号銘柄として、平成13年7月19日に「エムジーホーム」(銘柄コード8891) の取引が開始された。
