Seito Poetry Collection
(Original title, German: West-östlicher Divan ) A collection of poems by Goethe. Published in 1819. A masterpiece from his later years, it can be said to be the culmination of his influence from the works of the 14th century Persian poet Hafez and his love affair with his younger lover Marianne. The famous work is the volume of love songs "The Book of Zulaikha," which includes some works by Marianne.

《原題、〈ドイツ〉West-östlicher Divan》ゲーテの詩集。1819年刊。14世紀ペルシアの詩人ハーフィズの作品から受けた感銘と、年下の恋人マリアンネとの恋愛の結晶ともいうべき晩年の代表作。マリアンネによる作品も部分的に収めた相聞歌の巻「ズライカの書」が有名。
