The destruction of the human living environment by livestock manure, bad smells, noise, etc., i.e. "livestock pollution," is a major problem, but other pollution problems such as "vinyl pollution," where vinyl waste from greenhouses is dumped into mountains, rivers, and the sea, destroying the natural ecosystem, and "rice straw pollution," where rice straw is burned in large rice paddy areas and the smoke causes traffic disruptions, have also become commonplace. Although it has not yet reached the point where human body damage has occurred, consumers are also very wary of environmental pollution caused by pesticides, as pesticides sprayed on crops can remain in the crops, soil, and water areas and poison fish to death.
