A Korean scholar and official of the Yi Dynasty. His pen names were Ginbo and Nulwong. His pen name was Mae Jukheon. He was from Changnyeong. After passing the literary examination, he served as an official at Jiphyonjeon, gained King Sejong's trust, and participated in the creation of the Hunminjeongeum. In 1455, when Prince Suyang (Sejo) replaced Danjong as king, he cried bitterly while holding the national seal. The following year, he tried to restore Danjong to the throne with Park Paengnyeon, Yu Seongwon, Yi Gae, Ha Wiji, and Yu Eungbo, but they were discovered and brutally murdered. They are called the Six Dead Ministers. His book is Seong Ginbo Collection. His posthumous name was Munchung.

朝鮮,李朝の文臣,学者。字は謹甫,訥翁。号は梅竹軒。昌寧の人。文科に及第後,集賢殿の官を歴任,世宗の信任を得,《訓民正音》制定にも参画した。1455年,首陽大君(世祖)が端宗をのけて王位を奪取すると,彼は国璽を抱いて痛哭し,翌年,朴彭年(ぼくほうねん),柳誠源,李愷(りがい),河緯地,兪応孚と端宗の復位を図ったが,発覚して惨殺された。彼らを〈死六臣〉と呼ぶ。著書に《成謹甫集》がある。諡号(しごう)は文忠。
