A simple star chart that allows you to see at a glance the constellations and stars that are visible at a certain time on a certain day. The constellations that are visible from a certain point (at latitude Φ° north, it is north of declination -(90-Φ)°) are drawn on a disk with the North Pole at the center, and the circumference is divided into 365 equal parts, with the vernal equinox at 0 o'clock and the autumnal equinox at 12 o'clock, and the days of the year are marked clockwise. On top of this, a disk (with the part of the sky visible above the horizon at that point (approximately a squashed ellipse in shape) is cut out (with 24 hours marked counterclockwise, with north at 0 o'clock, east at 6 o'clock, south at 12 o'clock, and west at 18 o'clock) is placed over it, and when it is rotated around the North Pole and the date and time written around the circumference of the two disks are adjusted, the constellations that are visible at that time will appear in the hole.
