A general term for synthetic rubber that has a molecular structure with stereoregularity similar to that of natural rubber. There are cis-polyisoprene, a cis-type isoprene polymer (isoprene rubber), and cis-polybutadiene, a cis-type butadiene polymer (butadiene rubber).
