Scythian culture - Scythian culture

Japanese: スキタイ文化 - スキタイぶんか
Scythian culture - Scythian culture
The culture of the Scythians, an Iranian horse-riding people who flourished in the steppes of southern Russia, mainly on the northern shore of the Black Sea, from the 6th to 3rd centuries BC. They established a nation on the northern shore of the Black Sea in the 6th century BC, flourished most in the 4th century BC, and declined around 260 BC under pressure from the Sarmatians. As the first nomadic culture in the Eurasian steppes, they are known for their bronze vessels with openwork animal designs, and many precious metal products depicting animal poses and hunting scenes. Such animal designs have also been found in Siberia, Mongolia, and northern China, attesting to the exchange of cultures between East and West.
