Drawing paper - zugayoushi
A general term for paper used for drafting, drawings, paintings, maps, etc. Also called drawing paper, in English it is called drawing paper. It has a moderate thickness and firmness, and has the property of easily erasing pencil marks. Under the JIS, it is divided into those made from 100% chemical pulp and those made from 30% chemical pulp, the former being used for drafting and painting, and the latter as children's drawing paper. Kent paper and Whatman paper are known as high-quality drawing papers.

製図用,図画用,絵画用,地図用などの紙の総称。画用紙ともいい,英語ではdrawing paper。適度の厚さとしまりがあり,鉛筆などがよく消える性質を備える。JISでは化学パルプを100%原料としたものと30%のものに分けられ,前者は製図・絵画用,後者は児童の図画用紙に使われる。ケント紙やワットマン紙は高級図画用紙として知られる。
