Swedish School

A school of economics centered around Swedish universities that investigates the dynamics of the economy. Its ideas are extremely practical, and it is also known as the Stockholm School or the Nordic School, named after the university where it originated. Representatives of this school include GK Wicksell, who believed that cumulative fluctuations in prices arise from the discrepancy between the natural interest rate and market interest rates, Lindahl, who analyzed the successive relationship of this process, G. Cassel, who proposed the purchasing power parity theory, and KG Myrdal, who analyzed the pre-planned equilibrium state.
