Japanese: 水豊ダム - すいほうダム

A concrete gravity dam built by Japan in the middle reaches of the Yalu River in the northern part of North Pyongan Province, Democratic People's Republic of Korea. It was completed in 1944. It had a dam height of 106m, a dam length of 900m, an effective water storage capacity of 7.6 billion ^m3 , and a generating capacity of 600,000 kW, making it one of the largest generating capacities at the time. Lake Supung formed by the dam is 100km long and has an area of ^345km2 . The generating facilities were destroyed during the Korean War but were restored, and the maximum generating capacity has reached 700,000 kW.

朝鮮民主主義人民共和国，平安北道北部，鴨緑江中流に日本が作った重力式コンクリートダム。1944年完成。堤高106m，堤長900m，有効貯水量76億m³，発電出力60万kWで当時の最大級の発電能力をもった。ダムにより形成された水豊湖は長さ100km，面積345km²。朝鮮戦争で発電設備を破壊されたが復旧し，最大発電能力は70万kWに達している。
