Xin-min xue-hui; Hsin-min hsüeh-hui

Japanese: 新民学会 - しんみんがっかい（英語表記）Xin-min xue-hui; Hsin-min hsüeh-hui

A progressive student group formed in Changsha, Hunan Province in 1917 (formally established in 1918) under the influence of the New Culture Movement centered around the magazine New Youth. It was founded by Mao Zedong, Cai Hesen and others who were students at Changsha First Normal School at the time, and included items such as no gambling, no entertainment and no laziness in its rules, playing a key role in driving the New Culture Movement in Changsha.

中国，雑誌『新青年』を中心とする新文化運動の影響により，1917年湖南省長沙で結成された進歩的学生団体 (1918年に正式成立) 。当時，長沙第一師範学校の学生であった毛沢東，蔡和森らを中心に結成され，会規に不賭博，不遊興，不懶惰などの項目を掲げ，長沙における新文化運動の推進体としての役割を果した。
