A sports organization founded in 1965 under the philosophy that "sport is everyone's right." Abbreviated as Shintairen. With the slogans "Sports for everyone, anytime, anywhere" and "Sports with peace," the organization aims to popularize and improve sports, contribute to peace and democracy, and democratize the sports world. It strives to promote independent development of sports activities in local communities, workplaces, and schools, and holds various sports classes, instructor training, technical training, and competitions. It lobbyes the national and local governments to improve sports policies and promote democratic management, opposes unfair intervention and exploitation of sports for politics and commercialism, and engages in sports actions that protect peace.
