Under the banner of emerging science
A monthly theoretical magazine founded in October 1928 by Miki Kiyoshi, Hani Goro and others. It focuses on research into Marxist theory, and contributors include Miki, Hani, Honda Kenzo, Takashima Yoshiya and Nara Masamichi. It was published by Kobayashi Isamu of Tetsuto Shoin. The Institute for Proletarian Science was established in October 1929, and Miki and others joined the institute, and publication ceased in December. This document shows that even among academics there were those who were approaching Marxism. [Umeda Toshihide]
