The second founder of the Ji sect. Also known as Shin’a. His pen name was Ta’a-midabutsu (Ta’a). He was also known as a native of Kyoto. He was originally a disciple of Ryōchū, but in 1276 ( Kenji 2 ), he became a disciple of Ippen. Following Ippen’s lead, he consolidated the sect, expanded the pagodas of Hyōgo Shinko-ji Temple, and founded Konko-ji Temple in Kyoto and Muryōkō-ji Temple (Taiman Dojō) in Taima, Sagami Province (Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture).
