[1] [noun] True teaching. The teaching of truth. *Kyōgyōshinshō (1224) 3: “The true teaching of the Shinshu sect, which transcends all sects and attains the fulfillment of one true and perfect wish, is the true teaching of Shinshu.” [Rakuyō Garan-ki] [2] A monk of the Ji sect in the Kamakura period. The second founder of the Ji sect. Also known as Shin’a. His pen name was Ta’a-midabutsu (Ta’a). He was also known as a native of Kyoto. He was originally a disciple of Ryōchū, but in 1276 ( Kenji 2 ), he became a disciple of Ippen. Following Ippen’s lead, he consolidated the sect, expanded the pagodas of Hyōgo Shinko-ji Temple, and founded Konko-ji Temple in Kyoto and Muryōkō-ji Temple (Taiman Dojō) in Taima, Sagami Province (Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture). Katei-san to Gen’ō-nen (1237-1319 )

[1] 〘名〙真実の教法。まことの教え。※教行信証（1224）三「横超者即願成就一実円満之真教、真宗是也」〔洛陽伽藍記〕[2] 鎌倉時代の時宗の僧。時宗第二祖。別名は心阿。号は他阿彌陀仏（他阿）。京都の人とも。はじめ良忠の弟子であったが建治二年（一二七六）一遍の門下となる。一遍の後をうけて教団をまとめ、兵庫真光寺の寺塔を増建し、京都に金光寺、相模国当麻（神奈川県相模原市）に無量光寺（当麻道場）を開創した。嘉禎三～元応元年（一二三七‐一三一九）
