Edible plants - edible plants

Japanese: 食用植物 - しょくようしょくぶつ(英語表記)edible plant
Edible plants - edible plants
Plants that humans eat. Humans eat not only plant-based foods but also animal-based foods, and if we follow the food chain, animals also eat plants at their base. However, edible plants here refer to plants that humans eat directly. The carbohydrates, proteins, oils and fats, minerals, vitamins, etc. contained in edible plants are essential sources of nutrition for forming and maintaining the human body. It is said that there are more than 10,000 species of edible plants in the world, and all parts of the plant are edible, including seeds, fruits, flowers, young shoots, leaves, stems, and underground parts.
