〘Noun〙 Dance of the Left Side of Bugaku. Bugaku of Chinese and Indian origin. Dancers wear costumes in red or crimson colors and enter and exit from the aisle on the left side of the stage. Dance of the Left Side. ⇔ Dance of the Right Side. ※Kyonkyosho (1233) 1 "When I lived at that temple, I learned and inherited the dance of the Left Side."
