Calcium Nitrate - Calcium Persea

Ca(NO ₃ ) ₂ (164.09). When calcium carbonate is dissolved in nitric acid and concentrated, the tetrahydrate is obtained. The tetrahydrate is a colorless monoclinic crystal. Density 1.82 g cm ^-3 . It is deliquescent, dissolving in water of crystallization at 42.7 °C and becoming anhydrous at 132 °C. The anhydrous form is a colorless cubic powder. Melting point 561 °C. Density 2.36 g cm ^-3 . It is deliquescent, and becomes calcium nitrite when heated to a red heat. Both the tetrahydrate and the anhydrous form are soluble in water, ethanol, methanol, and acetone, but insoluble in ether. Ca(NO₃)₂(164.09)．炭酸カルシウムを硝酸に溶かして濃縮すると四水和物が得られる．四水和物は無色の単斜晶系結晶．密度1.82 g cm^－3．潮解性で，融点42.7 ℃ で結晶水に溶けて，132 ℃ で無水物となる．無水物は無色の等軸晶系粉末．融点561 ℃．密度2.36 g cm^－3．潮解性で，赤熱すれば亜硝酸カルシウムになる．四水和物，無水物とも水，エタノール，メタノール，アセトンに可溶，エーテルに不溶．肥料，染色，他の硝酸塩，花火(橙赤色)，爆薬の製造，レンズの原料などに用いられる．[CAS 10124-37-5:Ca(NO₃)₂][CAS 13477-34-4:Ca(NO₃)₂･4H₂O]
