Songgunni‐yujŏk Ruins (English name)

Japanese: 松菊里遺跡 - しょうきくりいせき（英語表記）Songgunni‐yujŏk

Located in low hills less than 40m above sea level in Chochon-myeon, Buyeo-gun, Chungcheongnam-do, Korea, this is a representative settlement site from the first half of the Plain Pottery (Bronze Age) period in the central-western region. The remains are distributed over an area of 2km x 1.5km and are thought to be the largest site on the Korean Peninsula, and parts of it were excavated in four stages between 1975 and 1978. As a result, the remains of 19 dwellings and four small jar burial tombs were discovered. The dwellings are pit dwellings with circular and rectangular plans, but there are no hearths on the interior floors.

韓国，忠清南道扶余郡草村面一帯の標高40m以内の低い丘陵地帯に立地し，中西部地方における無文土器(青銅器)時代前半期の代表的集落遺跡。遺物は，2km×1.5kmの範囲に分布し，朝鮮半島最大の遺跡と考えられるが，そのうち一部が，1975年から78年にかけて4次にわたって発掘調査された。その結果，19基の住居跡と4基の小型甕棺墓などが発見された。住居は竪穴式で，平面が円形と長方形をなしているが，内部床面には炉をつくっていない。
