Generally, a substance that has a low boiling point and can be liquefied relatively easily becomes a gas. For example, when water and alcohol become vapor, they are called water vapor and alcohol vapor, respectively. Note that the pressure of the vapor phase that is in equilibrium with the liquid phase or solid phase at a certain temperature is called vapor pressure. When steam is rapidly produced in a boiler, there may be small water droplets (liquid phase) floating in the saturated steam, which is called wet steam.
