〘Noun〙① Along with the Imikura and Uchikura , it is one of the three ancient treasures. It was founded during the reign of Emperor Yuryaku and is said to have housed tributes from various provinces. Its actual establishment is more recent. ※Kogo Shūi (807): "Furthermore, he established a large storehouse and ordered Soga no Machi no Sukune to inspect the Tripitaka (Saitō, Uchi no Okura) ." ② = Ookurashō (Ministry of Finance) ①※Shoki (720), September, first year of the Shuchō era (Kitano Honin): "Next, Naohiro no Michi and Otomo no Sukune Yasumaro made a speech about the Large Storehouse. " ③ = Ookurashō (Ministry of Finance) ②※Dandan Chinbun - No. 525 (1886): "A Prime Minister and ministers of the Imperial Household, Foreign Affairs, Home Affairs, Treasury, Army, Navy, Justice, Education, Agriculture, Commerce, Posts and Telecommunications were appointed." ④ A storehouse belonging to the Ministry of Finance under the Ritsuryo system.
