Muth - Carl Muth

Japanese: ムート - むーと(英語表記)Carl Muth
Muth - Carl Muth

German Catholic magazine editor and literary critic. His pen name was Hueremundus. He was born in Worms. At the beginning of the 20th century, a religious renaissance was recognized in Germany, and he was a pioneer of this movement, founding the monthly Catholic cultural magazine Hochland in 1903, which he continued to run until it ceased publication in 1941, spanning the period of resistance to Nazism. He contributed greatly to the revival of Catholic culture, and especially Catholic literature, and his influence was great.
