[Died] February 5, 1938. Tokyo Noh critic. Real name Saburo. Graduated from the Department of Japanese Literature at Tokyo Imperial University. Joined the Tokyo Asahi Shimbun Company. From 1908 to 1938, he mainly wrote Noh reviews under the pen name "Amanojaku" for the Asahi Shimbun newspaper, which were later compiled into the "Complete Collection of Sakamoto Yukidori Noh Reviews." He was also a professor of Japanese literature at Nihon University, and a lecturer at Hosei University and Tokyo Woman's Christian University. He also served as editor-in-chief of the magazine Nohgaku. He compiled the "Nohgaku Materials," and his books include "Nohgaku Ronso" and "Nohgaku Hitsun."

能楽評論家。本名三郎。東京帝国大学国文科卒業。東京朝日新聞社に入社。 1908年から 38年まで，おもに『朝日新聞』紙上に「天邪鬼」の筆名で能評を執筆，のちに『坂元雪鳥能評全集』にまとめられた。日本大学の国文学教授でもあり，法政大学，東京女子大学の講師も兼任。また雑誌『能楽』の主幹もつとめた。『能楽資料』の編纂をはじめ，著書に『能楽論叢』『能楽筆陣』がある。
