Born: 1879. Yanagawa [Died] February 5, 1938. Tokyo Noh critic. Real name Saburo. Graduated from the Department of Japanese Literature at Tokyo Imperial University. Joined the Tokyo Asahi Shimbun Company. From 1908 to 1938, he mainly wrote Noh reviews under the pen name "Amanojaku" for the Asahi Shimbun newspaper, which were later compiled into the "Complete Collection of Sakamoto Yukidori Noh Reviews." He was also a professor of Japanese literature at Nihon University, and a lecturer at Hosei University and Tokyo Woman's Christian University. He also served as editor-in-chief of the magazine Nohgaku. He compiled the "Nohgaku Materials," and his books include "Nohgaku Ronso" and "Nohgaku Hitsun."
