Examination magazine - jukenzasshi

Japanese:
Examination magazine - jukenzasshi
Basically, it is a practical magazine with information on how to pass the entrance exams for higher education. When the school system was established in Japan in 1873, the aim was to change the educational methods used under the class system to a modern education system, but it took a considerable amount of time to disseminate the significance of this and to organize school education. As the former became more widespread, exam guidebooks appeared to make up for the shortcomings of the latter, and then exam magazines appeared. The first exam magazine was Kouekata (1917) by Fujimori Ryozo and Tsukamoto Tetsuzo.
