Social welfare

Social welfare
The welfare (a numerical measure of subjective satisfaction) that people enjoy from a certain social state will generally vary depending on the individual making the evaluation, and it is not self-evident how to grasp the welfare of even one individual. Furthermore, the welfare of an entire society consisting of many individuals, that is, social welfare, will likely be defined in a variety of ways that reflect people's views of society. Regardless of the definition, social welfare may be influenced by various economic and non-economic factors, but AC Pigou called the part of it that is directly or indirectly related to the measurement scale of money economic welfare.
