A movement to promote the ideological, technological, and cultural revolutions that are considered necessary for the construction of socialism and communism in North Korea. In February 1973, Chairman Kim Il Sung (Kim Il Sung) set out a new policy to strengthen the promotion of the three revolutions, and the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea formed three revolutionary groups consisting of activists from the Workers' Party and state agencies, scientists and engineers, and young intellectuals, and dispatched them to various sectors of the people's economy in order to criticize the conservatism, empiricism, and formalism of the cadres in each sector and promote economic construction. The leader of these three revolutionary groups is said to be Kim Il Sung's son, Kim Jong Il (Kim Jong Il), and this movement attracted attention in connection with the issue of succession.
