Three volumes of Japanese hymns - Sanjo Wasan

A wasan written by Shinran. It was completed in 1248 (Hōji 2) after Shinran was 76 years old. It consists of three parts: "Jōdo Wasan", "Jōdo Kosō Wasan" in praise of seven high priests, and "Shozōmatsu Wasan" in the chapters "Shozōmatsu Wasan", "Gutoku Chōki", "Gutoku Sadan Chōki", "Crown Prince Shotoku Hosan", "Zenkōji Nyorai Wasan", and "Jinenhōni (Natural Law)". 親鸞の著した和讃。宝治2（1248）年，親鸞 76歳以後の成立。「浄土和讃」と，7高僧をたたえた「浄土高僧和讃」と，正像末，愚禿述懐，愚禿悲歎述懐，皇太子聖徳奉讃，善光寺如来和讃，自然法爾 (じねんほうに) 章の「正像末和讃」との 3部から構成されている。宗派により若干の相違がある。
