Sanjatakusen - Sanjatakusen

It is a Shinto teaching in the form of a revelation (oracle) from the gods of Ise Shrine (Amaterasu Omikami Shrine), Iwashimizu Hachiman Shrine, and Kasuga Taisha Shrine. Its origin is unknown. One theory, for example, is that in 1658 (Meireki 4) Itako's "Sansha Takusensho" (Sansha Takusensho), it is written that during the Shoo era (1288-93), the characters for the Sansha Takusen clearly appeared in the water of a pond in front of the garden of Todaiji Temple in Nara. The hanging scroll that has been handed down has Kotai-jingu Shrine at the center, with Hachiman and Kasuga Shrine on either side. It is a divine teaching on the three virtues of honesty, purity, and compassion, and it spread widely as a faith among the common people from the early Muromachi period to the end of the Edo period along with the development of Yoshida Shinto, and it became fashionable to display a hanging scroll depicting the oracles of the three shrines in an alcove and preach or worship with it. All three shrines are symbolic shrines of Japan, and the three virtues are a concise expression of the syncretic philosophy of Shinto, Confucianism, Buddhism, and the easy-to-understand nature of the scroll is thought to have been accepted without resistance by the general public. It is included in the Jingi section of Zokuzoku Gunsho Ruiju.

伊勢(いせ)神宮（天照皇太神宮(てんしょうこうたいじんぐう)）・石清水八幡(いわしみずはちまん)宮・春日(かすが)大社三社の神のお告げ（託宣）という形式で、神道(しんとう)の教化的な教義としたもの。起源由来などは不詳。一説として、たとえば1658年（明暦4）板行の『三社託宣鈔(しょう)』には正応(しょうおう)年間（1288～93）に奈良東大寺庭前の池水に三社託宣の文字が明らかに現れた由を記す。その文字は次のとおり。

　掛軸で伝わるものは、皇太神宮を中心に左右にそれぞれ八幡と春日が配置されている。正直と清浄と慈悲の三つの徳目を神の示教としたもので、室町前期ごろから江戸末期にかけて吉田神道の発展とともに広く庶民信仰として普及し、三社託宣を書いた掛軸を床の間に飾って説教・礼拝することが流行した。三社はいずれも日本の象徴的神社であり、三徳は神儒仏三教の混融的思想の簡潔な表現で、わかりやすい点が一般に抵抗なく受容されたものとみられる。『続々群書類従』神祇(じんぎ)部に所収。
