A treatise on Noh. Its correct title is "Sarugaku Dangi from the Heir's Sixty Years". It was completed in 1430 (Eikyō 2). It is a record of Zeami's discussions on the art in his later years, written by his second son, Kanze Motoyoshi. It was written just after Zeami handed over the position of Kanze Dayu to his eldest son, Motomasa. It covers the actual performances of Noh at the time, the performers from Itchū, Kiami, Masuami, Inuō, Kannami, and the heir (Zeami), their styles of performance, and even the actual state of various performing arts related to Noh, such as Dengaku. It is an extremely important document in the history of performing arts, as well as its value as a concrete discussion of Noh.
