Japanese: サバン（英語表記）Sabang

A town on Weh Island off the northwest coast of Sumatra, Indonesia. Located at the entrance to the Straits of Malacca, it was a transit point for maritime traffic in the 19th century. It is the northernmost and westernmost town in the country. It was severely damaged by the tsunami caused by the 2004 Sumatra earthquake. Scuba diving is popular here.
A village in the center of the west coast of Palawan Island in the southwest of the Philippines. It is located about 50 km northeast of Puerto Princesa, on the coast of the South China Sea. It is a tourist base for the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park, which was registered as a World Heritage Site (natural heritage) in 1999.

インドネシア、スマトラ島北西岸沖に浮かぶウェー島の町。マラッカ海峡の入口にあたり、19世紀に海上交通の中継地となった。同国で最も北かつ西に位置する。2004年のスマトラ沖地震の津波で大きな被害を受けた。スキューバダイビングが盛ん。
フィリピン南西部、パラワン島西岸中央の村。プエルトプリンセサの北東約50キロメートル、南シナ海沿岸に位置する。1999年に世界遺産（自然遺産）に登録されたプエルトプリンセサ地下河川国立公園への観光拠点。
