〘名〙① 袴(はかま)の一種。八幅(やの)のゆるやかで長大な袴で、裾口に紐を指し貫いて着用の際に裾をくくって足首に結ぶもの。朝儀の束帯の際に略儀として用いる布製の袴ということから布袴(ほうこ)ともいうが、次第に絹製となり、地質・色目・文様・構造なども位階・官職・年齢・季節によって異なった。奴袴(ぬばかま)。さしぬきの袴。※宇津保（970‐999頃）俊蔭「女の御料に、袿一襲・袴・小袿・さしぬき」※宇治拾遺（1221頃）一「青鈍のさしぬきのすそ破れたるに」② 能装束の袴の一つ。裾にくくり緒があり、膝の下まで内にまくりこんでくくる長い袴。公達(きんだち)、大臣などの役のときに使う。※わらんべ草（1660）一「金春、金剛、観世、宝昌、何も於_二志気の時_一、差抜(サシヌキ)、(かりぎぬ)也」
