Sasakinosho

Japanese:
Sasakinosho
A manor located in Izushi County, Tajima Province. The manor area was the southwestern part of present-day Tanto Town, Hyōgo Prefecture (present-day Toyooka City), along the Izushi River and its tributaries, the Sasaki River and the Kawamoto River. It was the territory of Hossho-ji Temple, one of the Rokusho-ji Temples of Kyoto. During the Jisho era (1177-1181), Hayabe (Kusakabe) Sadakage was appointed as an official official, and the name of Suzugi Shindayu Sukekage, whose surname originated here, appears in the 1197 Tajima Province Gokenin Koumei. In 1273, a division of the land was carried out between Ryoke Bomon Motosuke's aide, Michisada, and the land steward, Ota Masatsugu (possibly a member of the Tajima Shugo Ota clan). According to the Tajima Province Otabun (1285), the eastern part of the Ryoke side (the Izushi River basin) was 37 cho, and the western part of the land steward (the Sasaki River and Kawamoto River basin) was 36 cho. During the Nanboku-cho period, the Bomon Tamemichi (a different lineage from Bomon Motosuke) and the Kaneyukoji family held the position of lord, but there were repeated disputes and disputes over the position of lord by the headman (myoshu) and manor official, including the public official Kadomazaemon Nyudo Jakui, Myokaku, who claimed to be a descendant of Suzuki Sukekage, and Ota Magotaro, who was thought to be a descendant of the land lord Ota Masatsugu. After that, the manor was seized by the shugo and local lords, and it is believed that the manor lost its substance.
