In wireless communication, interference occurs when radio waves other than those being received are mixed in. For example, if a transmitter emits unnecessary radio waves other than those of the specified frequency, it will cause interference to other communication lines. Also, if the frequency selectivity of a receiver is poor, it will receive other radio waves and cause interference. Even if the transmitter and receiver are working properly, interference will occur if the same or similar frequencies are used simultaneously, so the frequency and nature of the emitted radio waves are regulated by international and domestic laws and regulations.
